Do you know what the difference is story wise between having the old god baby with Morrigan versus the human baby? Does that mean the warden rejected the ritual but she was pregnant anyway or. . .I'm not really sure where else that could go?

You are correct. The difference between these two depend on a romance with Morrigan and whether you perform the Ritual or not.

The Old God Baby is pretty self explanatory, it does not matter if you are in a relationship with Morrigan or not and it doesn’t even have to be you. But Morrigan ends up containing the old soul of the Archdemon with a tainted fetus and thus ends the Blight while giving Morrigan a Old God Child.

As for the Human child. It can be done with any race of Male Warden, but it is a Human child, because the Human gene is dominant in Thedas. As for how it comes to be? The Warden must have been in a relationship and experienced a full romance (sex scene included) with Morrigan. Then the Warden rejects the Ritual before the final battle, ultimately losing himself or another Warden and causing Morrigan to leave. The child’s conception unknown to the Warden.

This sounds great! Also you will be able to do 10 World States, so feel free to do all the World States.

My friend has actually done this...somewhat unintentionally in their actual game. So far they've (accidentally) annulled the Circle, killed Conner, and promised Bhelen the throne and then betrayed him for Harrowmont. It's fun to watch and apparently fun to do, so it might be fun to see how it'll turn out in future games.

Perhaps some of those are choices you can add to you state.

Twins Divided (Warden and Inquisitor)

I realized I had not talked about these two in my Twins Divided post, unfortunately.

My Warden, Mako Surana was decent Circle Mage, but wanted to see the world outside and once she did she never wanted to go back. Living the Circle she was quiet and dutiful in hopes that one day she would be able to leave with blessings and research in mind. However, when Jowan asked for her help, she freely gave it as no one deserved to be forcible locked away.

She joined the Wardens and took to nature, to fresh air and green land becoming a Shapeshifter. She was in full support of the Chantry, though she did like Leliana's version of their beliefs. Which she does end up starting a relationship with the Chantry Sister. Mako goes on to seat Alistair and Anora on the throne together, having someone she trusts and someone she knows can rule. However, when it comes Morrigan she refuses to force Alistair into something he does not want to do and is wary of the Witch's magic. In the end Mako takes that last blow herself and ends her life, leaving her Bard mourning and Fereldan safe.

In which, Female Elven Warden, Sidona Andras takes over the position of Warden Commander in Fereldan. Running it as she would in the Orlesian courts and saving both the Vigil and Amaranthine with proper planning, preparation, and ingenuity.

How this links in with my friend's world is still undecided (mostly because they have not in fact finished all of Origins).

As for my Inquisitor. Assan Lavellan was born to a Dalish mother, but in the city, after she passed from illness he returned to his mother's clan and worked as a rogue spy for both his people and some side jobs for human nobles to spy on other nobles. So of course it is him who the Keeper sends to the enclave. He is snarky, doesn't take much seriously and has a deep hatred for Templars. His best friend is Sera and worst enemy Cullen.

When the Fade tear rips open only him and Caswyn Trevelyan (my friends Inquisitor), survives and are both dragged off by the Seekers.

For the actual playthrough I will be trying to romance Dorian with him.

That said, for my roleplay, we are actually romancing out Inquisitors together. Assan goes off to sacrifice himself so Caswyn can continue leading the Inquisition properly, gets possessed by a demon, CaswyngivesthedemonpossesedAssanablowjobtodisarmthedemonandthensendsformagestoremovethedemon(likeConnor), and then they make a promise to marry if they both survive closing the tear (neither expecting to, so it is like an empty promise). They both do survive though and the Inquisition pretty much demands they marry after such a "heartfelt" proposal and *shrugs* why not...also Caswyn Trevelyan is the result of an affair his mother had with an elf and his "Father" is a racist noble...f u n.

what about "your canon", do you have one? mine's a female dalish rogue warden, the good and charming hero type, and lady warrior hawke, ultimate badass that is 100% done with kirkwall's bullshit. planning to use them for a fem dalish quizzy :)

As you can see that would be Dareth’Shiral. This is actually my first world I created and is probably incorrectly named. As it would make more sense to name it this if I had a Dalish Warden, Romanced Merrill, and did a Dalish!Inquisitor, which unfortunately only two of three are right. Surprisingly, considering how much love Isabela, Fenris is my canon romance not Merrill or Isabela.

So for Wardens, I have Eon Mahariel. He has never been too fond of shemlen, they were always taking what wasn’t theirs and that included him. Eon never wanted to be a Warden, to leave his clan, or be thrust into a world surrounded by humans. That said, he does find something in the human Morrigan. A woman much closer to being a wild Dalish than a civilized human, she has an understanding and respect for the Wilds and it something that simply interests him at first. Which he ends up keeping Alistair close, as it is a shemlen that if he cannot trust he can at least manipulate. Anora gets the throne, for he does not care what squabble the humans have among their own. He kills Loghain as the shem tried killing him first and he only sees the favor returned with interest. As well as refusing to complete any quests given to him by the Chantry beyond searching for the Urn of Ashes, which he poisons. In the end, he does fall for Morrigan and completes the Ritual with her. When he finally finds her again (Witch Hunt), he passes through the mirror with her. Thus Dareth’Shiral to this world and on to the next.

In Dragon Age 2, I used Reyes Hawke. A Purple Hawke in all ways and Pro-Mage. He ends up giving Carver to the Wardens, losing his brother for only a short time. Reyes uses his humor for deflection a lot as well, his decisions not always being the right ones, but they are his and should they go wrong he accepts them and tries to move on. When Fenris, the elf he was trying to woo, comes to comfort for his Mother’s death, Reyes does question if his magic is a curse rather than a gift. Ultimately, he disagrees with Anders’ radical decision, but leaves the mage alive to fix what he had done and goes on to fight the Templars with the Mages. Leaving Kirkwall with Fenris by his side and a goal in helping the elf fix or at least heal all that Danarius had done to him.

Lastly I will be using an Elven Mage Lady in Inquisition, Delen. I am still working with her idea though since I'll actually be playing Twins Divided first.

My Hawke romanced Anders and then broke up with him in the end-game. He's still alive though. Is there anyway to make Keep register the past-relationship with Anders? Or should I just put "Romanced no one" and be done with it?

There is no way for to register past relationships in the Keep, so yes you would have to choose “Romanced No One”. Basically the Keep wants to know if your Heroes have any ongoing relationships or relationships that followed through to the end, so that future games can reference and/or decide whether both the Heroes and LIs have been doing stuff together or apart.

I'm a new DA player who's creating a world state in the Keep and I'm trying to stick to "Paragon" choices, for the most part. Surprisingly, the choice that I've wrestled with the most so far is whether or not to tell Ghyslain the truth about his wife's death in DA2. I guess it's one of those things where I try to imagine what I would do in that situation. For the moment, I've decided to spare him the details, but do you have any advice? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Personally, telling him would be the “Paragon” thing to do, because it is the most truthful and because of what happens if you do tell.

If you were to keep it from him, then he does take her ring and assume that she just left him. That she is still alive somewhere and that it was just a lost of passion in their relationship.

However, if you tell him. He’ll actually give the ring back to Hawke, because it is insinuated (though in no way actually true) that his wife’s family would blame him for the murder because he has her ring and thus try to charge him with the murder. He is more worried about him own fate then his wife’s at that point though.

Personally, I think Ghyslain is a bastard and deserves to be stuck with the unexplained death of his wife, since he cares so little for her to being with. I mean he asks for her to dragged back like a dog. Still the “Paragon” option is to tell, that way he knows the truth and won’t have any reason to worry about being blamed for her murder.
