Working my way through Worlds Beyond Number (WWW) and HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Every other scene I am literally gasping, or crying, or yelling. Brennan!!!!!!!! When I fucking GET YOU. You can't give me Ursalon trying to protect those kids from his own childhood HERO. Then you went and followed it up with Naram's quiet wish that his sword strikes true over his spear!!! Hey man!! You can't go from giving me such a feeling of magical wonder that Vandal was borne of the power behind swearing to make yourself feel better, to this unexpected Silver surprise!!!???? What the actual fuck. I have to go to bed!!!

I feel like a lot of the people complaining about the unhinged and unsactifactory storytelling of D20, should really try out more long form camaigns with the same people, like Naddpod or Worlds Beyond Number.

D20 is really fun, and in my opinion also includes a lot of really good storytelling and character arcs, but it is a limited format on a comedy platform. Yes, sometimes the "perfect story arc" will get impacted by a limited amount of episodes, the comedic tone, or just the players making fun choices, and that's fine. But if you are looking for a more profound story, the actual play-space has more platforms where you can support your favourite creators. D20 has the capacity to be a lot, but it cannot always be everything you're looking for.

(not saying you cannot analyse or be critical of the mediums you're watching, just keep the format, and how that affects the story and choices, in mind)
