A World Band
Consider this:
A band with 12 members. For every continent (with people living on it) are two people in the band. So 2 members come from Afrika, 2 from Asia, 2 from Europe, 2 from North America, 2 from Oceania and 2 from South America.
The countries where the members come from don’t have to be very important in their continent. So the members from North America don’t have to be from the USA. They can be from any country, no matter how small.
The members don’t represent their countries. They don’t represent anything but themselves. A member from Germany doesn’t have to be white, or drink beer, or like the food from Germany. They also don’t have to have the religion that is most common in their country.
The band is very diverse. People don’t get in based on anything but talent. Not intelligence, looks, sexuality, beliefs, anything. Everybody can audition, and the people who judge all the auditions have to be objective. To make sure of that, there are multiple people who look at an audition.
This will probably result in a very diverse band, with members who speak different languages, have different skin colors, different sexualities, genders, hobbies, customs, beliefs, etc. But they all are very very talented (remember, they were chosen the best out of the rest of the world).
