     Long flights always had Roger tired and restless. Unable to sleep on the plane and having indulged in one too many whiskeys during the trip, he was now feeling a headache bloom around his temples. He ran a hand through his tousled hair, trying to look presentable as he walked through the airport, gaze trained on the floor. 

     Just as he walked, his focus was disturbed by a man who was trying to get his attention - or picture, by the looks of the phone in the other’s hand. Well, that was annoying. And he really didn’t have the energy or disposition to act all charming. He appreciated his fans dearly, but he was human, after all. And he really didn’t feel like it.

     ezra doesn’t mean to come off as terse as he does.  but this is one of HONDO’S contacts, && even though kanan had vouched for JANUS KASMIR ( well, sort of... ) it didn’t come off as any sort of votes of confidence in the man.  ezra leans against the shuttle he’s using--not the phantom II, but another shuttle--&& watches the man with a sharp eye.

     “ KANAN? ”  ezra’s voice is soft, a little shaky as he approaches the man.  “ YOU’RE UP LATE. ”  it’s dark in lothal, at that border where late at night turns to early morning.  four in the morning, maybe, by ezra’s reckoning.  ezra tries to smile at kanan, but it slips off his face as ezra begins to hunt for some caf.

     “  are you okay? ”

He knew he was being followed – he’d known for a while but he hadn’t made it known. Better his would-be attacker grow complacent under the belief that he had Cal right where he wanted him.  When he finally had enough of the other trailing him, he stopped in his tracks. He was silent for a long moment before speaking up. 

“Are you planning to come out at all or were you just planning to follow me all day?”

Noctis was just exiting his favorite cafe. It was the time of the year where he can get hot chocolate and no one could question him. He took a sip of his drink before walking. He walked along the side walk looking at all the christmas stuff.
