Both these stories are so nice (I love them not very sure if she understands anything but that doesn't stop me) and the illustrations are lovely. The other two books: "Story Train" and "Number Fun" is super colorful and captivating for her. I love how it helps me explain to him about people being different from each other. Size, gender, color and more! . Lishaan likes how Mr.Big goes from sad to happy in this story. Lovely twinnies.... Repost @twinsandmamatalks by @media.repost: The first book of my twinnies was touch and feel books sent by my sister... Then I got them Eric Carle books like the hungry caterpillar... Goodnight Moon and few others as I didn't knew about the Indian publishers like @pratham.books and @tulikabooks...It was @swathi_suriyaprakash who introduced me to this publishers... I got my boys Gajapati kulpati and both liked and loved the book.. Then I got them the other two Gajapati kulpati books... Gajapati kulpati is an elephant and the story revolves around the huge animal.. The friends of Gajapati giving him food to eat,helping him with solutions when he falls sick and playing with him... All the three books have three different stories but of the same elephant... Bought this from @thebookmark.in... This is our favourite from the time my twins were 15 months... Their Nani,dadi,mama,bhua all have read them Gajapati kulpati books...hence I got in hindi too... . . . Repost @hahalsr by @media.repost: Our pick for the#worldbookdaychallenge in day 2 - Favourite ❤️ There’s never just one book when you think of favourites 😉 I still remember her first favourite book was “that’s not my penguin” from @usborne_books ❤️ as she grows and as we keep introducing new books ,her go to go picks and favourites also change 😃 These are the books she currently loves to read anytime of the day 😀 Her first favourite was the #thumbthumb series ! This book Dark narrates how Thangi goes in search of thambi at night around the house and finally finds thambi gazing at the moon 🌓 The next favourite is the “Pooni at the tajmahal “.. she loves the way the kitty fits into minnies bag and how he jumps out of the bag ! The story goes on and finally how Minnie finds the lost cat! Our next favourite is the “I spy”. The book is absolute fun narrating how friends catch up on a birthday party and how they play hide and seek! She loves the book exactly because of the birthday party and I spy game, her favourite games! Finally the last book is 😀”Maharani the cow” ! This story is about how the cow sits in the middle of the road , hence the roads are jammed and finally she moves only by evening ! Very apt story as how she sees the Indian roads nearby and around us😉 All these books are narrated in simple words and are very colourful! These books are from @tulikabooks @pratham.books . Repost @mama_talks by @media.repost: #worldbookdaychallenge #Prompt1 EARTH We are reading this book Organic Food from Life On The Farm series by DêAgostini. With the use of all chemical and pesticides all around us, it was important for me to teach Yuv the real sense of farming and how organic farming helps to retain the Earth's soil and its nutrients. Organic Farming is also a way of life of co-existence and how the tiniest living beings like ants and butterflies to the Horses and cows contribute in fertilising the soil. This book also focuses on recycling the waste and what are manure and compost and its uses. These things are very important for Yuv to know where he now understands why we segregate the green waste and plastic waste in separate bins. I think this book is a must in order to understand how the Earth and its beings contribute to the simple food which is put into our plates everyday.
