So what if sky kids kept falling from the sky and being born even through the 500 years of dead kingdom? 99% of them would die very quickly because of the darkness, but a few of them would live longer. Those sky kids would have been alive before the spirits were active so they wouldn't have learned to communicate. They may have found a shelter and scratched out a living for a few weeks or months. And as the darkness slowly receded from the realms, they would have been able to live for longer. The spirits were activated only like 5-6 years ago so there might actually be some of these feral sky kids still alive. They'd be older than most, not as adept at communicating since they learned it when they were older. They'd be good at surviving in the harsher places of the world.
If you guys ever wanna do religious robots, this'd be some good inspiration I think
WIP map of my world building project. Gonna take it on the cardboard backing and put it on my wall
Horrible worldbuilding idea: what kinda jokes do people make about tragic events in your world? Think like. 911 jokes, hitler jokes, racist humor. This is not to say I am condoning these- but to say that people develop dark humor around events like these whether we like it or not. And it was something I was thinking of for my world (I’m still not sure how it would manifest bc I’m still figuring out the timeline lowkey—) and I’m curious if anyone else thought about it.
Worldbuilding idea:
A nation that functions semi or completely democratically but keeps the royal titles based on what the equivalent would be.
basically the elected leader would still be called King and any promising nominees would be labeled a Prince, noble titles would be given out to their democratic counterparts based on how much power they hold (im not too well versed in government politics outside of the USA so idk what examples I could pull up).
I think if kitsunes or nekomata were real than they'd be a big thing of animal rehabs or other places that treat wild animals needing to untangle their tails. Like 100% old kitsunes who done't have the same flexibility to groom themselves get all their tails tangled together and matted.
So there are just a million photos on fantasy Tumblr of kitsunes with the caption "Found this senior baby at the edge of the forest. Issues in his back didn't let him groom his tails properly so they came in all matted together. Not a fan of the bath and clippers but we got him untangled." and it's just the grumpiest nine-tailed fox who is 100% gonna curse someone or try to eat your liver.
