Drones…

drones... i was talking with my girlfriend about worldbuilding and she had the incredible idea of mages to employ drones in their service as servants a tier below familiars, and this is such a genius idea. i've been thinking about that constantly for like two days straight now

i typically think about drones in a larger sense, with the word i always use being hives, implying multitudes, and an autonomous control of the whole thing, but this idea really places a more personal touch on everything, while still placing a distance between mages and their drones (after all, if they wanted that personal touch, then the victim would probably be a familiar or something else more substantial)

Ugghh been thinking about my Minecraft worldbuilding recently Oah MY GOD I have so so many ideas!!

I missed working on my little personal Minecraft AU so much like,, I’ve technically been working on it since I was 11-12 when I first got to play the game myself... That game helped me so much with my creative skills damn...

Anyways *smacks lips* enough with the sentimental shit I am THINKING GOOD!!

I remember I used to think Herobrine, Entity 303 and Null were hot shit as a kid I though they were the coolest Minecraft creepypastas ever!! I admittedly don’t remember how they go lol but I used to think of them as this trio of baddies hellbent on taking over the world. Now I’m developing them differently I think,, Herobrine would have reformed since he regrets his past but Null and Entity 303 are literally OLD GODS who were banished for messing with the world so yeah, a lot of pent up rage. Again, I don’t even remember much about the original creepypastas I’m kinda making my own AU and stuff... y’know worldbuilding and shiz lol

I got a lot of notes in my head I gotta write them down somewhere before I forget!!

i've been working on indulgent worldbuilding, and one of the things i've decided on is that for Earth Divergent (the parallel reality that has mechs and cool technology) has an evil AI that's gone haywire and is currently trying to save the world from humans by way of removing their free will. no idea where that's going to go, probably nowhere, but it's a fun idea to include

So I gave a few of my friends some options on more pairings for my shitty trash goblin pirate story that could probably become canon. Because I like getting advise on story stuff from friends sometimes. Turns out that according to them, absolutely everyone on this fucking ship is gay now. No exceptions. With literally painful size differences between partners.

Thank you friends, this is exactly what I did not want to happen. Like, at all. But, oh well, if the fans demand it...

i guess i just invented OCverse, feel free to use it! hehe. my main doubt is about the setting, is it an alternate earth? so far you exposed mainly people with special heritage, or from completely different species, are there average humans? do they see monsters? are they aware that monsters and magic exist? i guess that's all for now. i like your OCs quite a lot, i might ask more later!

technicaly speaking its an alternate earth, yeah, though the aim is to make it work exactly as ours does, with the existence of non-humans unknown to non-magical humans. there are plenty of humans, its only about ten percent of the seemingly human population that isn't actually human, though there are higher percentages of magical humans and half-nonhumans besides that

the majority of ordinary humans arent aware of the monsters and magic that exist - as far as theyre aware, the world is as ordinary as ours.

the city my comic's gonna be set in has an unusually high population of non-humans. its a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy thing: people know the city has lots of people like them, so more move to live there, so the percentage grows and is more well-known.

there are pubs run by and for non-humans (besides the vampire bars and demon clubs and whatnot that are pretty common in modern fantasy stuff ahahah), though of course theres no way they can keep non-magical people out so they have to be pretty careful

uhm yeah. most /really obviously not human/ people have to make or buy glamours or just not go out in public.
