WorldCup on the Go!
1. Fotmob
Fotmob is a nice addition to your mobile phone. It provides lineups, statistics, head to head and play by play details. It has a smooth interface in which you can scroll through the sections through swiping either left or right. It is extremely informative and provides data in a concise manner that makes it ideal to use to update oneself on the way to work. Furthermore, it can double up as your go-to football app after the World Cup as it provides information on other matches too.
2. FIFA
The official FIFA app is a great application to have on your phone. While the first app shall give you all the information you need about the match, this shall help you gain information about happenings off the field. It gives you a summary of statistics, individual team profiles along with their top performances and a list of all the awards and contenders. A personal favorite is the stadiums section, where you can see and know more about the different stadiums that have been built for the World Cup.
3. Google Now
Last but not the least is Google Now's World Cup patch. Though it is not exactly an app, it provides a schedule of the matches and a live score update. So if you are stuck anywhere and are unable to see the match, just flick upwards once to launch Google Now and check out the latest score.
These are my favorite, do you have any apps that you prefer to use during the World Cup?
