“Hajime!” Her voice was soft, almost inaudible through the general noise of her classmate’s chatter. Vipa had been meaning to talk to her senior for a bit, but he had always seemed busy when she tried before. Now seemed like a good time considering it was their day off from class. Her hands are quick as usual as she signs her next words.

“Kazuichi!” The girl’s voice rang out much louder than she had intended. She seemed so excited for some reason. Though, when wasn’t she? Vivian bounds up to the other with her signature bright smile and bubbly attitude. Her pure energy just radiating off of her, as if she were a live battery. “I’m glad I found you! I wanna ask you something, if you’re not too busy that is! You’re just the only person I could think of that could possibly help me out.”

     She didn’t know what to say. Watching her sister carry on so easily without her had been heartbreaking. It was as if she hadn’t needed her at all. Since then, she had felt like she had meant absolutely nothing to her.

     Who was she kidding? She did mean nothing to Junko. She was just another pawn.

          “But I...should have known better.”

     Toko still didn’t know how to deal with children even though she had done it for quite awhile. She wasn’t good with them by any means, but she could at least talk to them and not scare them if she tried hard enough. When they asked too many questions, though, she ran out of answers.

          “It doesn’t hurt or anything...”

     Her hands didn’t cramp up as much as they used to, but sometimes, they could if she was on a roll. At that point, she yelled at them until they stopped. Most of the time, that worked.

          “And I like it because...it puts all my                thoughts somewhere other than in my head.”

     It was one thing if Makoto didn’t know where Eiko was. If Kyoko didn’t know, she would start kicking down doors. Aoi really didn’t want to make Kyoko mad, especially if she could avoid it.
