Worlds Divide, my debut YA science fiction novel, will not be out this month and it will not be published by Balance of Seven Press.
Canceling my contract with Balance of Seven was a mutually agreed-upon action.
I considered my options carefully before reaching the decision that seeking publication elsewhere will be the best thing for my book. This was a hard decision for me. With the other things going on in my life right now while I wait for everything to come through from BoS, I am taking a moment to be offline.
I appreciate the messages I've already received. I hope to come back with good news and good energy soon.

It's book quote Friday!
“Corey, we already celebrated birthdays.”
“Yeah, but not your birthday here,” he said, stretching behind my seat to pull out a long row of cassette tapes bound together with ribbon. He set it in my lap.
“Why should I get two birthdays?” I mused, staring at the length of cassettes.
“Because you’re special.” His lips brushed against my cheek. “Because I love you. I’d give you a gift every time you come because you being here is a gift every week for me.”

It's "Snippet Sunday"! (Moved from Book Quote Friday) Today, it's all about sisters. Nina's sister Cella is her lifeline. “Nina?” Cella’s voice wavered down from the top bunk. “I’m here. I’m okay.” She peered at me from over the safety rail, then climbed down and into my bed with me. “I’m here. You’re okay now,” she whispered. art by @honeyy.fae #SnippetSunday #WorldsDivide #AdriaBailton #sisters
