As a kid, Hector used to fantasize about robbing banks. It’s not that he wanted to hurt people or steal gratuitous amounts of money. Actually, all he really wanted was to ride across the country on a wild adventure, basking in the glamour and infamy that came with a criminal title. This wildly inappropriate aspiration stemmed from 1. his family’s business affairs and 2. his intense love of film noir. He obviously knows better as an adult (I’d like to think), and thus became an actor instead. Now he can play a bank robber whenever he wants, and legally indulge in similiar glamour and privilege.
