Sloooowly, Ludey's starting to cooperate with my cartoon style. The key is to simplify the proportions and realism. Only problem is that Ludey isn't easy to simplify in his design...
If you can tell, he's the polar-opposite to Amy, in both personality and design; Amy is an imaginative, clumsy goofball who's built with circles and Ludey is a stubborn, short-tempered, overbearing child genius––which makes him an adorable asshole––who's built with mostly rectangles and more sharp, angular shapes.
So while Amy's trying to protect the world, Ludey's trying to dominate it because he's under the illusion that forcefully taking control of the world will gain him the respect he didn't get when he was younger...And it takes him 21 years to realize that was actually pretty fucking stupid of him.
BUT THAT GRUMPY FACE ASDFGHJKL. And then he got shorter during his turnarounds...I tend to have trouble drawing characters from behind.
And I still suck at hands and I think his head ended up too big in that last pose...I mean, he's supposed to have a big brain, but that doesn't mean a big head. o_o;
