Impulse and Skizz are very different in many ways, but one of the most notable is the fact that while Skizz is very skilled in one field, Impulse is a jack of all trades.

The most common argument they have is which one of them is better— spoiler alert, they both think it's the other.

Skizz likes candles with strong and sweet scents because they remind him of home, and Impulse prefers the smokier scent of floral incense for the same reason.

When it's just them they switch between the two, but they usually end up burning incense when ZITS meet up— mostly because Tango also likes it better, and Zedaph doesn't care at all.

There's only a little bit left of Skizz's wings— and he refuses to lose that, so he carefully preens them twice a day, washes the feathers, sleeps on his front, uses elytra built for people who had stunted wings, allowing him to let them breathe. He never crushes them, never leans on his back, never lets people touch them. And it works. He'll have to be gentle with them for his whole (long, long, long) life, but he can keep what's left of them. And that's good enough for him.

In regards to my last post, I offer you this mental image of Skizz being hungry and just. Petting Impulse.

Nobody knows why this works but them, and it always confuses their other friends.

Before Skizz broke his halo— making him a fallen angel— he could play any instrument he wanted.

He still misses that power.
