Woke up to the coolest thing this morning…

I… I can’t even put into words how grateful I am. I mean- just a little over a year ago I started this account, and now look at it! 1k followers, amazing mutuals, a community that’s just downright amazing and- me.

I’ll be honest, I never thought I would get here. I started this with a stupid little Social Media AU story about Aizawa (of course it was BNHA lol) that, well, it gained quite a bit of traction, but I never thought that that first step would lead me to 1k followers.

I’ve already done an event for this (look at me, early to the event before it’s even started) so if you’d like to view it, by all means.

But again. I’m so grateful and I know you can’t see it but I’m tearing up in my A-period class because of this whole thing, so from the bottom of my heart:

Just a quick update for my writing if anyone is curious!

I’m catching up on my past due work/ current work now for my classes (namely Biology, History, and Philosophy). That being said, once I’m caught up with those, I will be fully caught up with all of my work, which hasn’t been true since about- November?

So, once all of this work is in and I’m able to do work on schedule and such, I’ll have much more time to write.

The first thing I’ll be focused on is my submission for Kay’s 1 year event (which I’ve already been planning for a while now). After that, I’ll be working on The House We Used to Live In and a Moon Knight work (since I’ve been obsessed with it as of late 😅).

So! That’s the little update for now. More work are to come as the months go on (especially summer) so stay tuned!

So, as anyone who follows this account may know, I haven’t written anything since- what, late October? That’s about 4 months, give or take, is it not?

Seems like a long time, yes?

Well, I’ve come to say that, as I’ve been given this week off of school and am able to finally catch up on all of my overdue assignments, I’ve decided to come back to writing! Though, there will be a few- changes.

Not even changes, per se, but notes I’d like to openly point out.

For starters, I think I’m just about at the point where I’m leaving the mcyt fandom. Now, this is not to say that I will never write for it again or will completely steer clear of it, but I’m ready to shift my focus to other fandoms rather than this one. 

Adding on, I’d like to expand the fandoms that I write for! If you’d like to see all the fandoms I am currently writing for and will be writing for, you can check my rules page for all of that info. Knowing myself, I’d reccomend to check it often as I join and leave fandoms quite often. 

Secondly, I’ll be re-writing my old series (ie. Meet Me on Market Avenue, The Technoblade Files, and The Jschlatt Chronicles) over the coming months. I love these stories, don’t get me wrong, but the writing within them is not something I’m proud of. Logically speaking I should leave them as is or drop them in general, but they’re ideas that I love and I’m not yet ready to let go. So, I’d say to look forward to that.

Lastly, while this may not be consistent, I’d like to start writing longer works rather than just headcanons or 1000 word (or less) fics. I want to build up my writing skills now so that they’ll be able to help me out in college and onward. This is not to say I won’t do shorter fics or headcanons or images and whatnot, but I’d like to start writing more and giving a result that I’m proud of and will stay proud of.

It’ll take a while before any of these notes actually come to fruition, but I’d like to speak on them now so you all know where I’m trying to go with this account. 

It’s funny, really. I haven’t been active for so long and I’m 30 followers away from 1000. I started this account the day after my birthday last year, so in commemoration of my (almost) 1 year anniversary, I’d say I should get back to what this account was made for. Wouldn’t you agree?

i have two works completely outlined at the moment!

the first is an otto octavius x gn!reader fic and the other is an alastor x gn!reader fic.

the first is a college AU fic ( stranger to lovers ) type fic while the second is a 1930s AU fic, of which can technically be seen as platonic or romantic.

i have two mcyt fics in the works as well, however neither and fully outlined just yet ( i'm redoing them entirely as i didn't like the past writing for it ).

hopefully i'm able to get these works out sometime within the next few weeks, but i just want to give an update on what i'm working on for the time being!

random thought, and please don't mind me when i say this cause i'm exhausted:

what if the word "helluva" in the show "Helluva Boss" is just a combination of the words "hell of a" but mashed together? so, given the context of the show, you could think of it then as "hell of a boss" and it fits!

just speaking personally, if i were to say "hell of a" out loud, then it would genuinely sound like the word "helluva"! i dunno, just something i was think of on a whim
