Mirage ! An elemental sandy force that can be spotted if you're tired, bleary-eyed and lost enough. The name was given to the vision Collective members were seeing as they tried to piece together what was causing the phenomenon. Simple a mirage, an illusion of the desert, a trick of the mind.
Until she started speaking. Mirage would visit weary travelers to the desert, greeting them, you could say, with whispers of their future. Of their families at home, of the beautiful details of their nest at home. Helping? Taunting?
Every stranger lost in the desert that have heard her, have found their way home to tell the story. Now considered a hopeful sign to those near giving up in the collective's clan journal, mentioned in prayers to watch over loved ones traveling through the dunes.
' What is Incense's favourite (or most valuable, in case they can't pick!) item in her collection? '
Incense ! The biggest collector and shopkeep in the clan. She has a big old dusty rug that she's had with her for years that she is incredibly proud of, boasting how it's 'antique!' and 'claw-woven!' She also has a jar that she keeps her most prized trinkets in, frequently kept on her like a pendant necklace. Incense cannot be bothered to concretely figure out all of her items' values, as a heavy believer in the barter system. If you want one of their oddities or trinkets, you have to convince her your trade is worth it (you're most likely to be forced to listen to her stories on the object's history first).
