After Sam got out of the military, he didn’t need to be on nearly as strict a diet as when he was a pararescueman or with the Falcon wings locked behind bars but he still kept to mostly healthy foods (and still worked out every day). When Cap and Nat came along, he cut back on the extra sugar and empty calories again because he needed to be in top condition again. His fridge is filled with lots of dark green veggies and other fresh fruits and veggies but a lot of natural protein too to put on more muscle…especially since he needs to keep up with the super human and the super spy.
