How come no one told me about worry jars? 😐 Like, I feel like that could be a great tool for an anti-anxiety spell.

Worry Jar

I have a fox shaped piggy bank in my room that I use as a worry jar.  I cut a ton of slips of paper and tucked them underneath the bank and when I’m stressed I write my concerns down and put them in the jar.  Every new moon, I make a point to empty out my jar and start fresh for the next cycle.

Hi! I saw your worry jar post. I really like that idea, and those are my favorite verses, they always get me through! What exactly do you put in the jar? Just curious. I kinda want to do it myself! :)

I write a little entry about something that’s been worrying me or stressing me out, like a short prayer, then I write the date and a verse to go along with my worry if I know one. By putting into the jar, I’m symbolizing “giving it to God”. I try to stop worrying about it from then on. I plan to go back and look through them sometime to kind of revisit my old concerns, and thank Him for what He’s gotten me through. I’m really pleased that you’re interested, good luck with your jar! :)
