this is a list of headcanons of what i believe what WOTA characters would call their partners or friends as pet names. if a character here is aromantic, assume it is a QPR or strictly platonic/familial.
affogato
i feel like affogato would most frequently call her friends and partner bro/dude, occasionally babe if she had to choose a more romantic pet name.
i think that she would also use words like sweetheart if she was trying to comfort the person, but perhaps she would frequently be flustered at pet names, using and receiving them and would have to become used to it over time.

strawberry
i’d say she likely would use extremely nonsensical or sweet & sappy pet names like sweetie or just putting a bunch of cute adjectives and nouns togethe.
he would most likely prefer being called pet names over her name, unlike his siblings, i think that if you called her a pet name for the first time she would go like “YIPPEEE!!! yay :33” and jump around a lot.
for friends she would frequently use the word best friend, regardless of how close they actually are and i think for people he views as family he would use mama, papa, bro-bro, sis.

balloon would likely not enjoy pet names very much, especially stuff on the more sappy side and would likely much just prefer to be called his name, if he was to be called a pet name it would likely have to be a rare occurrence unless yip is incredibly close to them.
if he is using pet names, no matter who they would most likely be something like bro, broseph, dude/dudette, etc, unless he is in an incredibly emotionally vulnerable state. i feel like yip would probably give people nicknames to try any annoy them a lot so most likely familiar names would also be saved for more serious moments, unless it is his family.

caramel
caramel is likely incredibly romantic with her pet names and would use stuff like my love, princess/prince, honey, darling, etc. she would probably love being incredibly romantic to her partner, i believe that in more serious or urgent moments she would most likely call them their familiar name to try and make a point.
i think that for her family however she would rarely use nicknames and most likely just call them their familiar name, maybe to try and connect with magnet she would nickname her as baby bird or something.
she would probably prefer pet names but slightly dislike them if they are being used in a more professional setting like in front of a boss or something as it would likely embarrass her a little.

similarly to caramel, stopsign would also enjoy giving more romantic pet names, but like balloon, it would probably not enjoy receiving them most of the time and would rather be called lyra. i think that she would frequently use the word “my” in its pet names to indicate some kind of possession and romantic intimacy.
for her family, she would probably prefer names and more serious parental names like mother, father, parent, etc.

like stopsign and caramel, they would likely use more romantic pet names, but in a more sarcastic tone? i think they would also enjoy calling people their plaything or toy for the funnies.
basically every pet name they use would practically always be in a slightly sarcastic or to belittle others. you can tell how sarcastic they are with it because they are an asshole.
