More about FDJ wotage/calls and answers
I've posted a while ago a link to a blog with all FDJ wotage (you could translate that as "audience participation" I guess?), for every song. Well, I assume so. I didn't read it all and I bet you didn't either. So I'm going to tell you about some that I actually got and liked from the lives!
1° love declarations Of course, when you're told I love you, you should say you feel the same, right? So to most "suki" or "aishiteru", the audience answers with "ore mo" (which is pretty macho for this mostly female audiences but traditions are strong). Ex: Taiyou mitai no kimi ga suki' refrain; most importantly, ChanPara: pick your oshimen and answer his Aishiteru!
2° speaking of ChanPara Kensui's solo has him answering "I said it's fine" to a question you can't hear. So the audience takes that roles and yells "Honma ni?" ("Really?") before every "ee tte". Same for Kyouhei's "nande tte?" ("why, you ask?") where the audience actually asks "Nande?" beforehand. The funniest (but the timing is too hard for me to get) call in ChanPara is during the refrain and goes "woohoot woohoot" like twice and I really can't explain it better. Not a call but a successful paper tape throwing is always very satisfying to watch!
3° more shared feelings One of my favorites, and probably the one that surprised me the most, is the "Ore mo!" in Onaji jidai. You know the line "shinitai toki mo aru sa" ("there are also times when we want to die")? The audience yells "me too" there too. Tbh the honesty of this sentence when I first heard it, so liberating, is one of the things that drew me to FDJ so...
4° good morning! Love spider's first word is "Ohayou" (good morning), strongly repeated by the audience. Another one I miss everytime but like a lot!
