Episode 7 is like the bad ending of Stranger Things; El and Kali lose hope for a happy future and are both gonna die, Will thinks everything was his fault and gives up on the love of his life, Mike (THE HEART of the show!!!) is barely relevant, Vecna is more powerful than ever, and everyone is heading into what may very well be a losing battle with no time left to prepare more.

That episode felt so bleak, and it lowered all our hopes and expectations as a result. But that's exactly what you would do if you wanted the final episode to make your audience feel relieved and satisfied. You make the audience genuinely worry about the stakes of your characters, so that it's more impactful when it turns out well.

Episode 8 is the good ending!

So this also happened while we doing arrangement stuff for Reginald and RHM (i can abbrev because he's cool w/ it), I guess Amy now has an estranged little brother as well as two dads (yeah Shadow started living w/ the chiefs by complete accident, but I think it works out...)
