Would you wear..a plaid coat?
By definition the plaid trend conjures images of 90′s rocker-chic, punk edge, and individuals who aren’t shy about making powerful style statements. This Fall, plaid has made a fashionable comeback–and it’s more than welcomed.
And just like clockwork, the cold season brings on an urge to invest in a new body warmer. Every time I see a trend I love I think to myself – would my Rosedolls fall for it as well…?
To me plaid is timeless, from school girls to runway. Moreover, a duster in that print is an easy way to experiment with fabrics.
In tune with the grunge vibe plaid, whether in the pattern form of tartan, Prince of Wales, madras or gingham, has been catching my eye of late, thanks to high end designers' interpretations of the woven motif on Fall/Winter '13 catwalks.

Checked patterns seem to be the trend of the season. I've already jumped on board of the plaid wagon. Lucky for me all I had to do is dig in my wardrobe and (re)score this baby I've had for years.

Some handy tips:
*With such a stand out piece, the accessories should be kept to a bare minimum.
*For those that like to avoid ultra-trendy pieces, you could opt for a scarf. It's a great way to enjoy the trend in a very classic and timeless way.
