What I like about them: Oh my baby. Now here's a character who grew. Let's be real, he was kind of awful at the beginning. Damaged or not, he was terrible. The first time we really see his growth is when he tells Jack about his father, something entirely selfless. Poor Sawyer, his childhood ruined him. He was so desperate to find the man responsible for his parents' deaths, that it ended up ruining him. But then he does become a good man, and a good leader. You can really see that in season 5.
What I dislike about them: Like I said, he's a piece of shit at the beginning.
Favourite moment: I'm gonna say the scene when he tells Jack that he met his father. Sawyer did not have to do that, and it's the first time he does something and we think "Wow. He's not a bad guy." He told Jack because he knew Jack needed to hear it. He goes as far as to tell him that his father was proud of him. Sawyer was Jack's friend in that scene, and I loved it.
Least favourite moment: As someone who like Skate fine, I hate their first kiss. It's gross to me. I guess this is an unpopular opinion. But he makes her kiss him! Then he tells her that he doesn't even know the information that he was keeping from her in order to make her kiss him! That made me so mad! It wasn't sexy, it was awful.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more: I would have liked to see more of his friendship with Miles on the island.
An interesting AU for this character: don't really have one.
A crossover: Sawyer should come to Agents of Shield. Imagine the hilarity.
