Punchier language
What the hell is punchier language? Do I slap you in the face with the cold hard truth of it all? I was asked to write an article for a magazine on fashion trends and told it needs punchier language. How do you write about something you don’t believe in let alone slap the shit out of people with cold words to punch them in the face with reasons to dress like everybody else instead of dressing for yourself. Looks like I may yet be fired for punching with Shakespeare into the abyss of mindless sheep. We are not mindless sheep and deserve to be told trends are not mandatory. You should be writing about the enslaving corporate world that makes millions employing marketing geniuses to spin this bullshit to the world. I want to write fact not fiction that sounds like fact.
Rejection is a hard thing for a writer. Good thing I am used to it. Opinions should be individual not regurgitation. And damn it pay me my dues for the right influences not what you want the world to be.
