You Know That Moment
When you realize your Star Wars obsession has been reawakened after a couple years? And you especially re-discover your love of TCW era? And you decide that you would at least like to plan a novel/series based around that time period? But with new Jedi, new clones, new story? And you then proceed to do a ton of research instead of actual homework? And you write out a summary, design your Jedi, write backstories, begin shaping the individual identities of (42) clone troopers? Which cues more research as you try to make sure they have unique names? Which means you have to make up stories about how some of them got their names? And for the Jedi you find you have to research the sentient species of Star Wars? And the meanings of the different lightsaber colors? Which leads to researching the different lightsaber Forms in detail so that you can assign certain ones to you new Jedi in order to accurately portray their character?
Yeah. This has been me for three (3) days.
But! I’m having a lot of fun :)
Also, can I just that figuring out what an albino Togruta might look like was a bit of a challenge. There was a lot of sciency-stuff running through my head about melanin, a Togruta’s natural environment/culture, markings... Ugh, don’t get me started on the face markings. That was a hell in and of itself. Three (3). HOURS of trying various things. Maybe one day I’ll even post the pics I’ve got (bc please; I did actually settle on something in the end lol).
