ok i finished s1 and im watching bits of s2 here and there but whats with s3 of castlevania and people telling me itll break my heart and mess me up

so i’m rewatching W ep 7 and kang chul’s face in the bus when yeon joo says that he should think of this “as a sequel we’ll make together” and then says that she hates all that fighting and death and stuff.... his fACE...... like his heart is breaking? when i first watched it i thought he was happy to see her but now.... he realises that... this is his life? and i think in that moment he made a lot of decisions that play out later?
