that’s a toughie. im gonna go with “look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now” because of how it changes meanings throughout the story. plus that part at the end of scuyler sisters where so many people are singing it makes me teary eyed

the characters have so much depth and I keep coming back around to emotion in this but it just because there's so MUCH raw real emotions, loneliness, fear, helplessness, insignificance, I could just keep going. and there's also hope and so much more. it really is timeless.

YES omg the emotions are so authentic. The characters are so wonderfully flawed. They argue and yell and don’t listen and hide their feelings away but they’re still good people who are interesting to watch. jesus hold me these people are too good. when i die i want my casket to be made of rent dvd’s
