Chloe was a real ninja. It was the middle of the night and she managed to sneak into blackwell and climbed up the dorm to Max’s room. With lots and lots of difficulties, but she managed to not get caught. When she climbed into her room she knocked some things over.

“Someone’s late,” Chloe said as she leaned back in the booth, arms behind her back. Normally it was the other way around. She watched her hipster best friend slide into the seat across from her and raised a brow. “What kept you, Hippie? I put on my best beanie for this.” She was teasing of course, but with her normal resting bitch-face it was difficult to tell.

Chloe had been expecting Max to arrive at her house baring gifts. Which is why Chloe had a gift for Max all wrapped up, neatly as well which was a first for her. She was excited to give Max her gift but when Max handed her a gift she tilted her head and raised an eyebrow since it was only a wrapped gift.

She began to unwrap the gift, tearing the wrapping paper before her eyes caught sight of the photo of her and her Dad inside a frame. Her heart raced as she scanned her eyes over the photo that she had completely forgotten Max had taken all those years ago.

Well, she had taken it after going back in time to try and save William, and even though she went back again to stop herself from saving him, she must have still taken the photo, which meant now in the present day the photo existed.

She lifted her gaze from the photo and flashed a thankful smile towards Max. “I… Thank you, Max. This means so much…” She managed to mutter out, her voice almost breaking as she tried to hold back her tears.
