It’s so interesting that you brought up the WP snow globes when talking about the tkk vlive. One of the first tkk shipping videos I watched mentioned this moment; stressing how focused jk was when making the snow globe was BECAUSE it was for tae. They made it seem like this was a very romantic thing, out of his normal character, when it’s literally just the way he is when it comes to art/creative tasks! I remember rolling my eyes and I didn’t even know the boys’ personalities back then. I just remember thinking how did some poor twelve year old come to this conclusion. I am very focused on my studies and I think my teacher is the scum of the earth LOL. I think the one thing we keep going back to here is narrative. Whatever fits it, is what they will keep. The problem with an inconsistent narrative, is that it makes for, an incoherent story. The tkk story currently reads like a fan fiction written by an inexperienced young girl who can’t remember what she wrote ten chapters ago and keeps adding turmoil to the story, through conspiracy, love triangles, and fetishisation. If jk had to make the snow globe for literally anyone else, it really would not be something to pinpoint and they know that, but (possibly because WP had more jikook moments ) they had to pull something from nothing. What were your fave moments from that WP package in general? I liked the hopejinmin shopping trip, and the staff asking jk why he always films jm. Stay well x
“The problem with an inconsistent narrative, is that it makes for, an incoherent story.” This. There is no need to add anything else.
