There is now a pro league for women’s Lacrosse

As someone who played girls/women’s LAX for 11 years (middle school through NCAA) this is soooo exciting. It would have been great to have these types of role models to look up to. 

There are currently 5 teams, and much like pro women’s hockey, these players are either unpaid or very underpaid (though to be fair, so is the men’s league).

But still Women’s LAX role models who aren’t college students.

BIG step in growing the game.
