Name change!
WrA-Kharris's name has officially changed to Khaeris. For all intents and purposes, this is the name anyone who met her previously would know. Sorry for all the IC and OOC confusion!
I will still refer to her as Baby Carrots and this Tumblr will still be mainly inspiration for ShC-Kharris/WrA-Khaeris.

I’m not sure this is real. I feel pretty nervous. Something’s going to fall apart soon. He’s too good to me. He’s funny and sweet and thoughtful. … And he likes to be around me. I’m pretty sure he’s being honest with me.
He’s more bound than I’m used to being. He has a whole family. But I’d be borrowing trouble to think it’s a problem yet.
He relaxes me. He’s not stuffy and he’s … He’s a warm blanket on a chilly morning and the smell of coffee (!!). … We’ve jumped in fast, but we’re doing it holding hands.
… We’re kind of ridiculous that way, while we think we’re endearing and cute, I’m sure we’re sugar-overload to anyone else. But I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I’ve never been sappy before. No one’s ever been sappy with me. … I think I kind of like it. It ~should~ be like this, at the beginning, right?

Kharris has never dealt with pain, so getting a tattoo makes her kind of squirm uncomfortably. But she might ask him for her clan’s mark, if she were to get something.
I am completely incapable of making googly eyes. Obviously. (For either character! <3)

Back, way back, Kharris definitely had some temptations. Watching him at his archery practice when they first met has induced many-a-daydream. ;) “Silver tongue”, indeed!

She’s never done it, but he’s come the closest to convincing her to be a bit of an exhibitionist. The idea of being in public and the chance of getting caught titillates her.
So it’s with Ash that she thinks about that. Something in the alcoves of the Walk of Elders, maybe.

She hummed as she worked. She hummed as she walked and she humed as she concentrated. There was no mystery in it, no deeper meaning, just more music she carried with her.
But the look on Andaeros’s face startled her out of it and made her curious about ~what~ she must have been humming. Kharris laughed a little, waggling her brows as she leaned over close to his shoulder and snapped the silk thread with her teeth. Her fingers were much like her sutures: efficient and neat. Her dimples bloomed in her cheeks as she looked on her work. It was always satisfying.
"This would have been much easier without those." She sighed and nodded long-sufferingly toward his runed tattoos. "Could have just said a quick cantrip." Winding up the left over suture, she looked away from him, leaning back to tuck her work elements back into the little case. "What did you even do to get a wound like that?"

Kharris smiled to herself. She rarely danced with anyone these days. The last might have been Azryl in Pandaria? She let that thought disappear, not letting it linger.
Instead, her eyes settled on the runes on his hand for the hundredth time. They were the only ones visible now. Pulsing now and then, she was fascinated and lulled into the rhythm of their movement easily. It felt like a dream, a little. How had they started dancing? It didn’t feel like the usual cad-banter that made him grin.
Her hand shifted in his, and he responded easily to the cue, sending her away from him momentarily into a spin that swirled her layered skirts and made her bangles chime.
Her heart was as light as her feet, even in this slow, steady dance they shared. It was nice. He was much taller than she was, but he adjusted stride well and kept his frame on her well.
Who knew he was a good dancer!

How I feel about this character
Save for having to very carefully type “Braeden” vs “Braedyn”, (and I’m sure I’ll mess up in the future!), I have enjoyed him! I’ve only interacted with him briefly, but what I’ve seen of this character is interesting. He’s doing a lot of things we don’t typically see in RP characters—single dad with a new baby and doing feedings even! Often, in RP, kids are props to be picked up and put down as desired, so it’s kind of neat to see someone being active with theirs in a reasonable fashion. I also like his contemplation about what to do with himself “now”, with what has happened in his personal life. I’m glad he decided to interact with the crew at the bench that night!

Well, I think he’s with @ragingfae, so…Her! I guess! I don’t really know him well enough to break the convention, there. ;) They seem like a passionate couple.

My unpopular opinion about this character
I’m afraid I don’t know him well enough to know what is an unpopular opinion, so I’ll just give another opinion!
Braeden seems like a character a bit adrift at the moment. Coming out of one relationship and diving head-first into another. Three tiny kids is a lot of babies for the couple to deal with. Will he be more hands-on than Faetrix is with her twins? How will all that work out?
Also: Faetrix is married currently. I can’t see THAT ending up well. There’s a lot of drama to come, I’d guess!
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I’d kind of liked to see him be on his own with the baby for awhile. It would have been an interesting dynamic for a single dad to learn to get in the swing of things and standing on his own feet. However, it’s good to have support, so it’s probably healthier for him to have Fae!
