Its genuinely interesting to observe and delve into the moral stance of husk because there is no set answer.

For example, with Bucky, he is constantly seen watching and stalking him from far away. The only time we see him try to form some communication with bucky before reaching Nulla Terra remnants is with with the tape describing Olivia's death in Layer 3, wallowing in the details. It's not known whether he is driven by pity, guilt, anger, spite, anything to watch over and direct the beaver.

When we do meet him, it seems to be a lot of things. Through his monologue to Bucky, he holds an understanding ("I thought I was the only one rotting down here") yet playful tone ("Let's give it a go!") And after completing the game, he seems to keep that tone, yet his comes across as more spiteful ("Let's look at the little mess you made.") He's taunting, but still holds some sympathy

god he is one of the most underrated characters of the whole sw64 cast.

(sorry for bad quality) Maybe it's just me overthinking again but the dialogue in the ending feels like Nick's feelings and experiences aren't resolved yet ... but he tries to move on anyway. He shows extreme worry and doubt when he lies about the pal percy toy not trying to kill him, seemingly trying to reassure John ... but also himself in a way. And when John tells him to catch up to get something to eat, he stutters a bit before joining him, still appearing to have something on his mind, but then choosing to brush it off

Is it really that important? Pal is just left in the rubble by himself, with almost no likelyhood of escaping and/or hurting someone else. The only one who even knows of him is Nick. Plus the toys were already recalled, with Nick not even knowing about it until John tells him at the end. Even if he told his story, would anyone believe him? John acted confused at his ramblings and simply put his concerns to the side as the story seems very unlikely. He even said that the Pal Percy's don't spawn big living wires everywhere, and he knew about how dangerous they were, so why would an outsider believe otherwise?

It doesn't matter. He's alive, so might as well that nothing happened. Nothing happened.

obsessing over these animatic frames and yeah I am definitely not neurotypical

side note but I also love that at the end of Rambley's 'confession' he takes on a much deeper and natural voice, really sells how he's basically spilling his guts here and is finally acknowledging the travestys that the park has fallen into.
