now that wretch has obtained a new form, with spidery traits, i decided his magic should also get some spider treatment!

he's got six spiderlegs he can manifest on his back

he can stretch them out to make himself look bigger (and also have you SEEN when a spider poses with its legs out? that's enough to make a chill run down your spine, at least if you have the scared-of-spiders gene) - stretching them out is mostly for intimidation

he can fold them forward to close in around his body, making a sorta magic shield

they take almost no magic to use, mostly just a big chunk when first summoning them, but this does mean their mobility is very limited, hence he's really only got two forms with it (intimidation or defensive) - the shield does take up a lil magic as long as he's keeping it up, but it's very minor

other than that, he's got long-lasting webs that he mostly uses for traps. wretch is definitely someone who prefers not to get into a fight unless he absolutely has to, since he's not really equipped for attacking. (still tho, he's big and strong and WILL fuck u up if necessary)
