Idk…..there’s just something about the fact that it feels like a big Fuck You to all the People Who Think They Are Fans of This Show/Sherlock Holmes For the Wrong Reasons (while like, lol, same), but which took out the rest of us anyway as collateral damage that makes this a pyrrhic victory, at best djdgkfdh

Soli, I’ve been looking at the avalanche of promo material we had in december, and like absolutely, we were hurt and burnt in the process... But I’m looking at the clues they left and as much as I hate what happened to us, there’s a path to be followed? That takes time for us to see? The dark lifeless promo pictures now make sense, showing the absurdity of it all. I don’t believe there’s unexpected new content waiting to happen, nor I can tell what’s going to happen. All I’m saying is I need to follow the clues. Because that’s all we have ever done. We observe and listen. No one else.

yeah but this still doesn't explain why John would be obligated to write Mary to make her look like a good person...? I don't understand what purpose that would fulfill, when it would make MORE sense and less mess for him to just admit it on his blog, 'Turned out Mary had actually been/been working for Moriarty all along.
