I'm starting commissions!

I just recently left my last job due to a...not so great environment, we'll say. However, while job-hunting, I figured I'd start up commissions.

Down below are my quotes! For now, because of ADHD-related reasons, I'll be only doing up to 2 slots. Just for now as I work my way around this.

I do a base rate of $0.02 a word, with a minimum of 1000 words. Prices are based on word count + add-ons.

Base Word Counts

1000 words - $20

2000 words - $40

3000 words - $60

4000 words - $80

5000 words - $100

Longer projects are incredibly welcome, just ask for a custom quote!

Common Add-Ons

(Note: These stack on; percentages apply to base price)

Canon characters/fandoms - +10%

Heavy angst/trauma/grief - +10%

Explicit sexual content - +20%*

Complex lore/continuity compliance - +10%

Dual POV/multiple POVs - $15 flat

Rush Orders (under 7 days) - 25%-50%

*(By commissioning explicit content, you confirm that you are 18 years and older. I have full right to turn you down if that turns out to not be the case.)

Payment Notes

I require a 50% deposit up front to reserve your slot

Remaining balance will be due upon completion

With each commission, i will provide one revision; any major revisions or rewrites will cost extra.

One revision pass is included for minor edits. Any further additional revisions may incur a small fee ($7) as rewrites or major changes are treated as new labor and will be quoted separately.

How many times this whole thing 'sending the same requests to different writers' will stop? I have seen it multiple times now, and all the time it's fucking annoying!

How come they are fully able to read 2k or more fics but suddenly they cannot read what? 3 words? "I accept requests" and they turn blind. Honestly.

I'm so sorry if I seem too angry but the amount of times I had to remind people to NOT send me requests or that I will write what I like is insane. They all turn suddenly blind when it's time to respect writers boundaries

Yeah, it’s annoying as hell.

At this point I’m pretty convinced that people who copy-paste the same request to multiple writers aren’t actually reading anything we write. They just see “this blog writes for this fandom I like,” skip everything else on the page, and start firing off chain asks like they’re submitting tickets to customer support. The goal isn’t to engage with the writer or the blog. It’s just hoping someone somewhere will produce their fantasy for free.

And half the time they won’t even say thank you if someone does write it.

What makes it even more absurd is exactly what you said anon. These same people can read thousands of words of fanfiction without blinking, but the moment it’s time to read three words like “requests closed,” suddenly the eyesight disappears. Miraculous.

But the funniest part, honestly, is when they get told no and immediately switch into wounded victim mode. That’s when it goes from annoying to genuinely ridiculous.

Writers are not vending machines. We write what we want, when we want. If someone can respect that, great. If not, the block button exists for a reason.

dude how are people STILL coming around with requests 😭😭 like i thought everyone knew you’d closed those for a long time now and it’s not like it’s a secret info omfg

I feel like most of them know, honestly. They’re either testing their luck, ignoring it on purpose, or copy-pasting the same request to multiple writers hoping someone will write their fantasy for free.

Which is funny, because people doing exactly this are the reason I closed requests forever in the first place.
