how you feel about your current WIP

Lol which one!?!  They’re all driving me nuts atm lol, I’m trying to finish up the next chapter of my Kakashi x Oc long fic and have hit a wall, so I’m not super jazzed about that. My Kakashi 90’s au fic is mishmash mess. My BNHA Aizawa x Oc fic is going okay-ish so thats the only one I’m not actively mad at lol. 

11. a WIP you’d like to finish someday

I’m really love my KakaKami 18th cent. Japan au, I’ve done so much research for it and its so fun to translate their dynamic and some other nart characters into a new world and try to write in a different style to fit the setting too. So ya prob that one, its very near and dear to me and bc of that I’m trying to take my time and get it exactly how I want it.

14 where do you get your inspiration?

Lots of places! Mainly from reading, be it books or fic or manga. I draw as well as write so either looking at art I love or finding a reference can spark some sort of idea for my characters and their dynamics, makeup clothing or appearance. Sometimes people around me or the random ass shit that seems to happen to me lol.  I also really enjoy doing research so sometimes just exploring a silly almost random little topic or listening to a podcast at the gym gets the creative juices flowing, honestly podcasts are good too to just focus on something that isn’t writing but they still keep me thinking about pacing and storytelling.

I am so not the one to ask because I straight up just wasn’t here for it, but from what I understand:

Around 2019, hermitblr was an utter wreck over a shipping war. It was divided into shippers (who claimed it was fine to ship hermits because most people were only shipping their Minecraft characters/personas and had little to no interest in their personal lives, let alone in pressuring them to get together irl) and antis (who claimed it was never okay to ship hermits because that is inherently shipping real people, which is a massive invasion of personal privacy). Cleo and Joe Hills were probably caught up in the worst of it, as they were the most vocal in their “support” of shippers. (Essentially they said they didn’t care if people shipped them and that antis needed to calm down because it’s never okay to just straight up bully people, especially over such petty internet drama). Cleo, along with the rest of the shippers, proceeded to get mercilessly harassed to the point of her completely leaving the platform.

apple i went into the boomer tag last night n it was absolutely full of ppl talking abt the tiny segment where they walked by the prison n c!boomer showed like. a shred of care for c!dream. and it was soo annoying seeing the same “boomer is gonna regret that” and “boomer doesn’t know the lore/what c!dream did” idk why it was so. frustrating. I only got echoes of the takes and I'm trying to really convince myself that this problem is less prevalent than people make it out to be. This ask isn't giving me much hope.

Like. You can't be telling me THAT MANY people are complaining about fictional characters who have just arrived in a fictional world with no knowledge of what's occurred there expressing distantly sympathetic attitudes towards someone locked up in a massive obsidian box with others being unable to provide them with a proper explanation as to why he's in there beyond "well he's a bad guy".

Why is there even talk of "the CCs should know the lore". It's not the CCs advocating for others to look deeper into c!Dream character or even for his escape. It's the characters they're playing in the story. They don't know anything because they've just joined the server, as characters.

And while we're on it, Michael McChill "got to know the lore". Didn't he watch like all of EvanMC's series? A series that is, from what I've heard, pretty pro-L'Manburg biased? And yet his character wants to break out c!Dream and isn't exactly a fan of L'Manburg! So the issue isn't that the content creators don't know the lore, it's that people don't like what they're doing with their characters and assume it's a result of ignorance because heaven forbid somebody makes their character take a stance that doesn't align with people's interpretation of the story.
