Some how you got away. In my mind I use to fantasize and daydream about all the ways I would take advantage of you. I use to go to a place deep within the pits of my soul and you would be there waiting egging me on to become enthralled by the way you could alleviate all of life's heartaches and pains. But some how you got away.Patience was suppose to be the key to you and me. But all the blocks seem to become to much to overcome. I couldn't fight off the darkness and when I sought out to find you my soul shut me out. And just like that you were gone. My love, my passion, my creativity it all began and ended with you. With you I could captivate a room; warm the coldest of hearts; and make love to the mind of those willing to be receptive. But some how you got away. I let you get away. It took time to get back to this place where I could feel your tug on my heart strings that for years only played the same sad song. But now is our time to make sweet music. I can already here the harmonic melodies and the rhythmic beats. My body is beating to the sound of a new drum. How could I ever let you slip away. Because with you I know I can be great.
