Daily Poem
In quiet hearts, a story starts to spin,
A tapestry of peace, where hope begins.
We are but keepers of the world we see,
A bond with creatures, wild and safe and free.
For love is found in every act of care,
A wealth of grace that all of us can share.
Books don’t just fill shelves—they shape minds.

I miss when I was writing regularly before The Big Hiatus and I got comments all the time. I do write for myself, I make story choices that I enjoy. Some of it's wanting validation but, a whole lot less than it used to be and mostly what I want comments for now is, I spend so much time with my head in this story. It just makes my day when other people engage with it and want to talk to me about it. Even when it's something they didn't like - when it's about 'this thing made me feel this kind of way' and not, unsolicited advice. Positive or negative, I do not appreciate being told what to do in my own story. It's going where it's going but I do love to hear what you feel and think about where it's gone so far.
If you loved someone's work, PLEASE comment. And not just with emoticons. Give us specificsssss. Please ramble into our inboxes. I promise we don't find it annoying. Statistics show us that people are receiving our work, interacting with it - when you comment, we get to hear a little bit about how much people engage with it and that means so much.

Did I get a secret lobotomy or something or can I not just write at all like I used to?
