Ganesh Chaturthi will always be everyone's favorite festival. With everything going on, this festival is calming. Every year has been special. The place where you can have lot of different feelings is social media. It had so many positive and negative aspects. One can get so many information there. Like from the latest incident happened somewhere to Goswami's so called debate. And you can even find your school friend from 10 years back only if they have an account. And socialising online is so simple. Just texting them or reply to their stories and bam, they text you back. Getting close to a person you know virtually is more possible. As you are still a stranger to them even if you would have talked for hours. But you never know how the person is actually. Not only texting there are so many different things available. Like in whatsapp's statuses to put and you may think the person for whom you have did so much hardwork for finding a video will definitely know that it is for them. But instagram and facebook are the most advance ones. Reels to igtvs they have everything in one app itself. And now the negatives. One has done so much hardwork in clicking a picture. From getting the perfect outfit to matching everything. And then the edits. But there are still people who will constantly demotivate or troll them. 'Oh my god so much makeup. You will be ugly in real life', 'You are so fat why do you even post' or even all the swearing of the world will be in their posts. If the person posts regularly then he is alive and if they dont then people will dm them saying are you even alive. Means because they need to know if you are alive or not, you will have to post something. They could have even called you and asked you about your whereabouts because that reminisces the past. And the part of following and following back, where the person may send you a request and you follow back. Then stalk you, if they dont like you they will unfollow you. Then what was the need to send the request at the first place. And there will be people who actually will be the same in real life as in their socials. But not always. She is in London. And he is in India. Everytime on this occasion they would either surprise each other and gifted each other even though the brother had to gift the sister something. This was their thing. And they would go to their favourite restaurant amd have their favourite parathas from there. But this year they have to celebrate it virtually. And they video called each other and the sister said grinning, 'Happy Rakshabandan to my brother who is actually adopted and still my number one.' He couldn't stop laughing because even though he was adopted he was the elder one. 'Where is my gift, small one?' he missed her so much. And video call wasn't enough on Rakshabandan because he couldn't protect her from anything. And her doorbell rang. There was a parcel outside. It was her favourite brand's merchandise and even a coupon to a restaurant. Their favourite restaurant which had their branch in London too. 'Thank you so much, elder one. Now we can go together even though we have time gap. Now go ask mum for your gift. Even on the occasion where you have to gift me, I had to gift you.' And then his brother had his gift. One can easily say someone you are fat or healthy. But one may never know how the other person will take it. They may stop eating or may ask people whether they look fat. Any type of body, too skinny or bulky, too fat or curvy is only because they are like that. Bodyshaming people is never the answer. What if they are suffering from thyroid or some may be having anorexia. Listening to people saying thinks around them will make them do things they don't even like. They may stop eating their favourite food or start dieting just because people have problem seeing them. Even people saying that lose weight before marriage, otherwise no one would like to marry you. But if someone genuinely likes you then they wont see that you are not the perfect size. They should accept you the way you want. If one like food, they should eat it and not think about what others are saying. Because one can get fat anytime or one may be thin their whole life, but people, they dont change how they think. Even a thin person maybe suffering as they want to gain weight but they cant because of their genetics. It is very easy to say that forget the past and live in the present. But it never easy to physically forget it. Because every memory with them may remind you of the story behind it and you may go thinking about it deeper and deeper. Like what would it be now if they still were in your lives. Would they be the same? Or would they break you down? You may never know that the sweet innocent person was now nothing but a person no one would want to be with. Everybody may have a type of past. Whether good or worse, abusive or happiest but what pasts makes you learn is that what matters. Whether it weakened you or made you stronger. It could have made you mature or could have made you take things in sarcasm. People would think that wait this person has attitude because you dont talk with others that fast. But when the person gets to know you they will know how kind you are. You could have been an introvert before but it made you more confident and an extrovert. Or it may have made you build your walls higher. You always would have felt weaker before as you were alone but now being alone makes you more powerful inside. The shy person is no more there and instead there is a whole new one. The past is the thing you look upon to.
