Me: eh what the heck, this is pretty self-indulgent anyway, I'll write the slightly more dramatic epilogue to the self-insert where I DON'T go home after the plot is done and have to convince the other characters that my sadness is because of real memories and not some kind of alternate-life hallucination

there's a little bug crawling on my laptop and is now my writing partner for today.

I'm sobbing because its crawling on the screen following the cursor- HOLY FUCK it jumps. i think it likes whump bc it's doing a silly circle dance

idk what it is it looks like a thin black leaf bug with a light past brown line on it's back and legs. along the line on it's back is where is small wings are.

wait i lost it.... its in my bed somewhere and the sheets are black with brown blankets RIP homie.

Okay so I used to write fics years ago before I had my little one. Haven't written anything since but lately I've got little plot bunnies bouncing about in my brain and a nagging urge to write something... feeling a bit apprehensive though because I'm so out of practice 😅
