The muse is strong with mirror, mirror. Part 4 is mapped out just needing my rereads/edits. Part five is being started. I don't think it will have toooo many more parts but I'm loving where it's flowing.

Happy Storyteller Saturday! What are some ways you organize your notes/writing thoughts?
bold of you to assume I organise anything
-muffled sobbing-
actually i have a couple of standard things i do:
i use scrivener, so i have files toward the bottom of my binder for notes. usually it starts as one unnamed page full of random sentences and phrases and words and incoherent screams. once this gets pretty full and i start having a better idea of what my wip is doing, i cut and paste those into separate pages titled things like “plot ideas” and “worldbuilding notes,” which are pretty arrogant titles for pages that include lines like “Can Cerberus lose a chew toy?” and “ -Tea.”
i pretend I am using an outline format by starting each line with a bullet point. these never develop subpoints. it’s just a page of random bullet-pointed lines.
once i’m revising, i also use dedicate some serious hours to creating comprehensive metadata and keyword tags so I can colour code scenes, synopses, timelines, etc. and make good use of the corkboard function.
and, of course, if all else fails, make physical 3x5 cards and start pinning them up like a conspiracy theorist on my walls, which is a really useful tactic for someone who thinks as visuospatially as I do.
also I am open to suggestions if someone has better ideas.
