Yesterday, I got to meet my former HS English teacher, Ms. Torreon. ❤️ She gave me a textbook she authored—where she included a short fable I had written back when I was a high school sophomore! 😱 ”Lucy’s Melody” was a piece I wrote in one of our class activities and to find it in her book is truly an honor! (Who knew? I was already published in 2012?! 😂) Thank you so much for believing in my writing even then, miss. And for giving me the opportunity to talk to your students yesterday.
