100days - 100: New Thesis Question
How can the knowledge that we can't get lost help us deviate from the norm and rediscover our surroundings?
100days - 99: (Human) Machine
Technology enabled, missed communications. Are elusive. Hard to lock down. Timely and destructive. We expect to have immediate access to each other yet at these critical moments we are confronted by the reality that at some point the person ends and the machine begins. If we are the machine, then the interface between the body and our technological selves is imperfect. Many connections lead to dead ends. Human + machine ≠ machine. Yet if we are just human, than this equation becomes self evident. Human ≠ machine. We have a tendency to think that when communication fails it’s the, human who is responsible. After all, technology is the child of humanity. Blame seemingly needs to be placed somewhere.
100days - 93: Imagined Reality
Most of the time I am imagining a world that will never be even if it’s only 5 minutes into the future or 30 minutes into the past. Even now has its imagined future.
100days - 94: Meaning
The pursuit of purpose seems to be my...purpose or pursuit.
100Days - 95: Potential and Negotiating
If we call a baby alive, yet my dog is objective smarter? How does potential factor into human life? If my phone increases my overall potential to achieve or to connect or to remember in this world, can’t it be said that it too is alive? If a child is a pale replication of society and of their parents then, are our phones just as alive?
100Days - 91: Confrontation
If the phone is an extension of ourselves than anything which confronts our relationship with our phones therefore is a confrontation of our sense of self.
100Days - 90: Memories
Happy birthday day. I have fond memories of throwing eggs at you.
100Days - 97: Motion
The robot is moving. He has my physical appearance and my animatronic eyebrows.
