Who wants to be apart of history? Everyone, right?! Well known fact is that any known successor of life didn't succeed all by themselves. Contrary to belief, it takes a village to raise a baby and it takes a team to win. No matter what the personal goal is you need support and motivation, which are sadly, not given out as freely. Look at The Avengers or Justice League. If Captain America didn't have Iron Man to irk his nerves to do better then the Captain wouldn't be his absolute best. Same goes for Batman and Superman. We are all individually great at something. Imagine how much greater we can be when we align with people of similar or even different interests but a similar goal.
For writers, it's to get your works out there whether the outlet is spoken or written that is the goal. For me, my goal is to be a well known, published author, to connect other artists, and to make a better world for you, me, and our future. Try as I might, I cannot do this alone. My shoulders aren't strong enough to lift the weight of the world. And I'm not Atlas.
So help me, help you, help us. If you've been writing a book (as I am) and you can't seem to get past a certain part (as I am as well) -- a writing group is your answer. Or if you're just now starting the writing process -- now's the time to join! Even if you're almost finished and need someone to review your manuscript before turning it in to a publishet -- a writing group is still your answer. Even moreso, it's a great way to get to know people, understand people's stories (fiction or nonfiction), and it helps you to mold your craft.

I have no interest in stealing plots, themes, ideas, and/or stories. My goal is to gain feedback for my story, provide feedback for other's stories, bounce ideas/brainstorm, and meet people with similar interests. I am strictly in this to help others who are like myself wanting to write a book to completion and publish. My journey doesn't have to be selfish to succeed. And neither does yours.
