I'm looking for beta readers for my current 89,000 complete manuscript: The Storm Queen, my Urban Fantasy story with some Sci-fi energy throughout. Here's a brief description:
When an extraterrestrial storm reaches Earth, Akina Cross, an emotionally detached former pianist blessed with god-like powers, is thrust into the mystery and politics of this new Magicka-touched world. The storm changes more beyond her, giving about 1/3 of the population alien DNA. Either blessing them with Magic or changing their appearance. She wants nothing to do with these newfound gifts, but when a dark god is on the hunt for her, she must find a way to stop these Storm Eaters from devouring the souls of those with power, all whilst dealing with the political pressure being pushed out of society by the rest of the planet before they're wiped out, one way or another. Akina may not be a god—yet —but she's humanity's last hope. Whether she likes it or not.
