(8260) A day doing test and Motivation class of Peter.
Normally I'd have shifts to work in District 1 but today I've got a day off😆. I think it's a nice opportunities for me to focus on studying. So I'm rambling around just to find ways to focus on what I need to do🧐.
Probably I'm thinking about finishing the two writings today before spending the whole tomorrow for Assessment 1 of APPL8260. I feel sorry and guilty because I didn't check the readings before the class😔. However, I need to work on with it soon.
The interesting piece of knowledge today is about:
Integrativeness and experimental?
The effects of identities to out-of-class self-regulated study?
Situated identities
Discourse identities
Transitional identities. Prof. Peter's given the examples for (1) - the identities which are explicitly presented - like job titles/ occupations (doctor, teacher) and changes if there is a change in the situation (where a doctor comes to a class and becomes the student of one of his patients, the role turns into learner - teacher). (2) Discourse identities - in a conference (mostly involves talking), a professor is an audience while his students are speakers. (3) Transitional identities - these identities are only revealed during interaction, when a person ask others about their part-time jobs or freelancer jobs, they might give their implicit identities such as designers, athlete.
I'd love to re-watch today's lecture about Motivation and write more about my outcomes😂.
