The rain was cold and stinging as Eva trudged up the block, her stomach in knots and her heart sinking to her shoes as the manor came into view. Reginald was dead, and Pogo had summed the Umbrellas home. The last thing the eighth Umbrella wanted was for the impending chaos that would come from the reunion of the dysfunctional team.
She and Klaus were sharing an apartment in the city, and she tried to keep in touch with others but it was never more than a phone call or two a year at most. But truthfully she was excited to see Luther, she always looked up to him, always trusted him even when they were younger.
Eva shook off her coat before hanging it up, looking around the massive foyer. Memories tugged at the back of her mind, Reginald's voice echoing in her ears. She jumped when she heard footsteps, her head snapping in the direction of the noise. A smile spread across her face as Luthor came into view. "Hey you."
