today’s writing update:
- had a productive writing day -- thank you, tropical storm! high school!AU is at over 7,000 words, and still not even halfway through. I still don’t know if I should divide it up, because it feels like there are 4 different stories in this one fic but I’m trying to fight against the impulse until I finish it.

Yup, fic stuff! I am trying to do the lyrics thing, and I have a small handful of songs that are intertwined with this thing... but apparently they’re all either too fanciful, or too literal. Or I am just artificially stalling by being a picky fuck...?? :\
Just finished watching the latest ep and yeahhhh don’t you just hate cliffhangers?? 😏 but also lol I decided to wait until mid next week to post. But I imagine there will be a lot of fics coming out in the next few days about that scene. 🙊

Anyway, after a crazy week at work I slept 10 hours last night & now feel so great. I didn’t write at all yesterday to give myself a break too, & now I feel rested in body and mind — perfect to do some writing!! 🤗

(although I just found another fic based on seasons and while it’s not a new convention I swear I didn’t know there was already another one out :| )
Today’s writing update:
- figured out a few plot/timeline points. A small victory, but one nonetheless.
- ch 3 is over 2,000 drafted words. Probably somewhere around 2,500 words with edits.
- I also laughed at this line which I had written before the finale ... “MY can tell that KT is trying. He’s not one to really care about school but...” LOL who knew that canon KT would be so studious?? 😅 i still maintain though that in this AU he’s a slacker who skips class as much as possible!
