Thundercats 2011 x oc
Author note:
This is a silly oneshot of thundercats 2011 with my original character, Bagheera. To give context to those who don't know my profile, Bagheera is the character in the picture below this text. (on my profile there is another drawing of him, much better than this one, if you want to see, enter in my profile.)
He is my original character and he will be part of a series of books that I am planning write. These books It will be based on thundercats 2011, cat warriors and other medias.
But, I started writing this year, so I am training to realize this dream of creating a trilogy of books, and this oneshot is one of my writing practices.
I want your opinions to get better!
The Thundercats were camping in the middle of a forest, Lion-O and Tygra were talking happily around a campfire, Cheetara was next to Tygra, silently just listening to the conversation of the two brothers, who were talking about the time when they were children.
Meanwhile, Panthro sleeps in his thundertank, snoring like a pig. The twins, Willykit and Willykat, were playing with a snarf. Suddenly, the thundercats hear a scream, mixed with an animalistic groan of pain.
"Did you hear that?" Lion-O asked, scared, looking into the darkness of the forest.
"Of course! Only a deaf person wouldn't hear that. - Tygra replied sarcastically, while taking his pistol from his waist, preparing for the worst.
"What was that noise?" Panthro asked with an angry and sleepy tone as he stood up.
"We don't know, but it's not a good thing." Tygra pointed into the darkness, Lion-O did the same, he drew the vigilante sword and pointed into the darkness.
"Maybe that was just an animal…"
" It didn't look like just a Cheetara animal." Tygra replied seriously, his pistol still pointed into the darkness. Suddenly, something moved between the bushes, the thundercats became even more alert, but to the surprise of everyone there, a cat came out of the bushes, its neck was bleeding, its eyes were wide in terror. The cat took a step forward, and then fell face down on the ground.
Lion-O lowered his weapon and approached the cat, even though his brother told him not to get closer. Lion-O knelt down and touched the cat's shoulders, who didn't react very well to the touch.
"GET AWAY FROM ME! Cough cough!" The cat used his claws to hurt Lion-O, making him move away.
However, he had to stop trying to hurt the king of thundercats, because he was spitting blood at the moment. "Cough.. cough."
"Please, let me help you." Lion-O approached the cat, avoiding touching it again.
"Ge- Cough..cough..Cough!"
Lion-O, seeing the cat's situation, became desperate, as he realized that he was dying.
"He 's dying!" Everyone there looked in shock at the leader, who picked up the cat. That was almost dying, and he still trying to hurt Lion-O with its claws. Lion-O took him to a tent and laid him down gently, the cat was still coughing up blood, however, his breathing was getting weaker and weaker.
"Cheetara, help me!"-As Cheetara approached to help, Lion-O tore off a sheet and began to make a makeshift bandage on the cat's chest, which was also injured with several bite and claw marks. Cheetara finally came to help, with a small pot and an unknown mixture in her hands. "What is that?"
"It's medicine, it will help to heal his hurts faster. " The cat was visibly getting worse, he wasn't trying to defend himself and his gaze seemed distant, his breathing was weak and almost nonexistent. Cheetara puts the mixture on the squirming cat's neck, however, he doesn't try to defend himself, accepting the help.
"How long will take for him to get better?"asked Lion-O with concern in his eyes and voice.
"I don't know Lion-O, he is seriously hurt... he might not even survive." Upon hearing Cheetara's response, Lion-O looked at the cat, who was staring at him intently, his bright blue eyes were almost mystical, it was as if he were exchanging glances with a demon, the sclera of his eye was as dark as the night, something Lion-O has never seen before. The cat's appearance was unique in itself, his hair was long and dark like coal, the color of its fur is slightly bluish, and around its body were spots that seemed to have been beautifully painted by a renowned artist.
In the morning, while everyone was still sleeping, Lion-O was awake waiting for some response from the mysterious cat who was sleeping peacefully. He was nervous, afraid of the possibility of the cat just die at any moment, as king, he wouldn't allow that happen, especially not with someone who could have come from his fallen kingdom.
"Aaah.. still awake, little brother?" Tygra commented, leaving his tent, still yawning with sleep.
"Ah.. good morning Tygra." Lion-O replied with a sleepy tone, the dark circles under his eyes reveal the terrible night's sleep he had.
"How is the boy? He wake up? "
"Not yet... he's been quiet since the time you were sleeping. "
"Did you spend all this time watching him? Damn..." Tygra scratches his head, searching. "Look, you better rest, you are our leader, if something happens to you it won't hurt. I'll keep an eye on the boy..." Tygra placed his hand on Lion-O's shoulder warmly.
"Oh well.. thanks.. I guess?" Lion-O walks away and walks to his tent, rubbing his eyes and yawning on the way. Just as he was about to lie down, Tygra caught his attention.
"Lion-O, come here! The boy woke up!" Upon hearing his brother's voice, saying that the cat had woken up, Lion-O ran to see the boy. When he got there, he came across the cat giving his brother a wild cat look, as if he was going to jump on the Tygra like a wild animal.
" Hello.." Lion-O spoke softly, making the cat look directly at him. - How are you? Can you speak? The boy responded nothing, just stared at Lion-O savagely, giving the young lion goosebumps.
"Yeah, apparently he's mute..." Tygra commented sarcastically as he walked away. "I'll leave him with you, good luck little brother!" Lion-O turned around and saw his brother move away from him as he approached Cheetara and the others. Lion-O turned to the boy with a sweet, adorable smile.
"Well.. what's your name?"
"Bagheera. - The cat responded harshly and coldly.
"Bagheera? It’s a... peculiar name..." Lion-O replied while scratching the back of his ear, somehow feeling uncomfortable by the deadly look of the cat in front of him.
"You?" Bagheera asked coldly while gently tilting his head, like a puppy.
" I'm Lion-O, lord of the thundercats! It's a pleasure to meet you."
"You are weirdo..."
"Ah.. weirdo? Why do you think that? " Bagheera din't respond, just stared at Lion-O with a threatening and terribly deadly look. What was wrong with this cat? Why did he seem so wild? Lion-O, seeing that he wasn't going to respond, got up and walked away from the tent and joined the others who were sitting on some tree trunks, talking.
"Hey little brother, Did you talk with the boy?"
"Yes...but.. that boy..looks like I'm looking at a beast... I've never felt so inferior with just one look."
"We don't know what the boy went through, we must be patient with him..." Cheetara answered wisely, her serene and calm look was something admirable. "If he came from Thundera, he must probably be shaken by everything that happened. He may have been made a servant of Ratar-O, just like the other surviving cats."
" I don't think he was a servant of Ratar-O... If he were, I would have remembered his face... After all, he is very unique, it would be almost impossible not to recognize him." Tygra replied to Cheetara with uncertainty, while looking at the tent where the boy was, something was different, but Tygra ignored it..
"That boy is very strange.. We should keep an eye on him, he could be a servant of mumm-ra... Just like Pumyra was." Panthro spoke seriously as he looked at the leader who, upon hearing the traitor's name, Lion-O looked down shyly. Was that boy really a servant of mumm-ra? Had anyone else among his people rebelled against him?
"You're talking about me behind my back, how ugly~".All the thundercats got scared and looked for the owner of the voice, who was next to Panthro this whole time.
"AAAAAAH!" Panthro practically jumped off the log where he was sitting, scared with so much fear.
H"ehehe~" Bagheera let out a mocking laugh. "You guys were so distracted, didn't you even notice when I left the tent? They should have paid more attention in me, as the big guy said, I can be a mumm-ra's servant."
"Who are you?! And how did you do... that?! You got it!" - asked Lion-O, pointing the sword at the cat, with the intention of just scaring him.
"Oooh! Calm down, I was just kidding!"
"Answer my questions."
"I already told you this, I'm Bagheera, what else do you want to know?"
"Everything. "
"Urgh... Fineee! Well, firstly, I didn't come from Thundera, I don't even know what that is, secondly, I wasn't a servant to any rat, thirdly, I have no idea who mumm-ra is... Happy? " The cat responded mockingly, making everyone there suspicious of him.
"Why should we believe you?" Tygra asked, putting himself in a battle position.
"Hmm.. because am I handsome?" Bagheera replied with sarcasm and mockery.
"This is a serious boy!"
"Neh neh, I know it's serious, orange guy... But all this seriousness doesn't please me." Bagheera stretched and lay down on the log he was sitting on.
"Who do you think you are!?" Panthro asked, indignant at his boldness. Lion-O put away his sword and approached Bagheera in an attempt to reconcile with the boy.
"Lower your weapons..."Lion-O ordered. - He won't hurt us. - the thundercats, even though they didn't agree, obeyed the king.
"What are your intentions?"
"Hmm? Well... I have nothing against you all, unless if one of you touch me again." Bagheera replied, still lying on the log while facing the leader.
"Okay, then you can stay with us if you want." Lion-O replied with a friendly smile, the other thundercats looked at their leader in fright.
"Lion-O, are you crazy?! We don't even know who he is! We cannot allow him to stay with us!"Tygra whispered angrily into Lion-O's ear, who completely ignored his brother's complaint.
"He's a cat, just like us, we should help him and welcome him, I won't allow one of my people to suffer again! "
"Lion-O.. I understand your concern for him, but he doesn't even come from Thundera! And the worse, he doesn't even know what Thundera was. If he didn't come from Thundera, where did he come from? Here's the thing, we don't know! And you remember very well what happened when we trusted another cat, we were betrayed."
" I know Tygra... but let's give him a chance! I can't just leave a cat in the middle of the forest when it could very well stay with us."
