Day 6: Write 5 ways to win your heart.
HA.
Have an adorable Irish accent, serenade me regularly, buy me chocolate erday, dance with me to Van Morrison, and be rich.
Totally kidding! I’m just a little jokester and I can’t be serious without diffusing the awkwardness I feel with getting personal (even though most of you barely know me!).
Honestly I don’t know what to think of this, but here goes:
1. Be a little shy--I need some balance in my life and I’m super outgoing. This is the cutest thing ever.
2. Love Jesus--as much as I admire people who end up leading others to the faith, I’m not sure if I would feel as fulfilled being in a relationship if the person weren’t already a believer.
3. Be humble--and I don’t mean the false kind of humble--I mean genuinely humble and meek and kind all wrapped into one. This is literally one of the biggest things I’ve realized I desire in a partner. This kind of humility is grounding and just so admirable.
4. Seek me out--When I say that, I do mean initially, but also after the initial getting to know me. There’s a lot going on here, and I’m not the type to just tell people what’s up, you know? I come off like I do, but not really. Seeking me past basic questions and really delving into deeper conversations about anything and everything will be awesome. And allow me to do the same.
5. (This is lame): Surprise me from time to time--nothing huge--just little acts of kindness is seriously all I would like.
And now that I’ve just sounded like a lame chick flick, and wasn’t specific about anything at all, I’m going to crawl into a hole and raise my chinchillas alone with Van Morrison playing in the background.
