writer's asks 2, 5, 12, 17, 18, 19
Huehue this is a hefty ask. Thank you💙💙💙
2. First story I’ve ever written? I don’t know if this counts but when I was around 4 or 5 years old and finally learned to write sentences, I wrote a very short story about a family of cobra snakes, I think, accompanied by crayon doodles. It’s all incoherent ramblings now, but back then I was convinced I was writing the next best seller
5. Favorite trope to write is definitely the clichéd chosen-one. It’s a classic and I just like the whole “destined to save the world” or the “the only one currently around who is able to save the world”. The novels I have in progress all fall into this trope, but with the emphasis on how much of a difference one person can make, the lives they touch, the legacy they may leave behind, and the consequences of their actions.
12. I overuse “smirk”. I use it so often, the word is dead and buried. I usually see smirking as something attractive so I tend to use it for characters who are being flirty or mischievous. Once in a while, I’ll use it within other contexts, but yeah…I like me some fictional husbandos who smirk
17. Fun fact about my current WIP? Oh mah gawd which one? There’s so many WIPs😂 Okay, so for my Dishonored fic, Marisa is a self-insert and she had a fling with the Outsider once. How, you might ask? She’s an odd gal who annoyed the hell out of him, but she was so damn fascinating to him that he couldn’t stay away.
18. A piece of dialogue I really like is this short writing exercise I did for a creative writing class years ago. Maybe one day I'll turn it into a full fanfiction:
19. A line I want readers to remember from my story: I cant decide on just one, so I’ll say from my Dishonored fic so far, there is a line in the first chapter that I love because of the questions it raises: “…someday soon, the people of the known world will no longer bear my mark…they will bear yours.”
